As an important part of Dunhuang mural paintings, wedding pictures not only reproduce the real folk wedding customs of the Tang Dynasty, but also reflect the differences and integration of different ethnic groups in the Dunhuang area. The restoration of wedding pictures and the visualisation of wedding customs simplify, visualise and make interesting the abstract concepts and complex contents that are difficult to express clearly in language, in order to maximise the dissemination of information and play the function of cultural dissemination and popularisation of education.
