In today's society, consumerism is rampant. However, when consumption is no longer about meeting needs, consumers often become trapped in the illusion of symbolic value. This project seeks to analyze these consumer concepts and present them visually to help consumers understand the illusory nature of symbolic value. In the book design, the long receipt format is incorporated into the layout to symbolize the behavior of consumers. Additionally, the project makes extensive use of infographics to clarify the logical relationships within the concept of symbolic value.
