This book aims to make a contribution to promoting female type designers visibility. In the male-dominated world of typography, women who create typefaces are often underrepresented. This book aims to make a contribution to promoting their visibility. It presents 80 selected typefaces by 34 talented women. The book is divided into three chapters: TYPE contains type presentations, INSPIRATION shows examples of usage and the chapter *INNEN (the German feminine plural suffix) presents short biographies of the female type designers.
