Target Malaria is a not-for-profit research consortium operating in Africa, Europe and North America focused on developing innovative genetic solutions to end malaria in Africa. Our research is carried out with a co-development model that involves working closely and over many years with the African village communities in which we conduct research activities. We developed a three-part animated video series to explain our stakeholder engagement work. Stakeholder engagement is what makes Target Malaria unique in our field of science. It is also an activity that is difficult to describe.
Target Malaria is a not-for-profit research consortium that aims to develop and share new, cost-effective and sustainable genetic technologies to modify mosquitoes and reduce malaria transmission. Our vision is to contribute to a world free of malaria. We aim to achieve excellence in all areas of our work, creating a path for responsible research and development of genetic technologies, such as gene drive.
