The book is more than a collection of images; it’s a journey through the complexities of identity, displacement, and resilience—a powerful narrative of Iranian lives in America. I’ve designed the layout to create a visual rhythm that mirrors the emotional flow of Hossein's photographs, allowing each image to tell its own story. My illustrations throughout serve as visual interludes, enriching the narrative by capturing the broader emotional landscape of the immigrant experience, aiming to ensure each page offers an intimate encounter with the nuanced realities of the Iranian diaspora.
