Chicago Textile Week weaves together the interior design, fiber art, and fashion industries into an exploration of Chicago's past and future of textiles. The event’s rapid growth in popularity required a new brand identity and signage strategy. Working closely with organizers and sponsors, designers established a graphic language that speaks to the nature of textiles, in a bold, yet minimal way. A new color scheme, typeface, and graphic framing system represent the tactile qualities of fabric in print and digital promotional material and event signage and collateral.
