Applied Underwriters’ 2022 fall promotion awards wine and wine accessories to the independent insurance agents and brokers who sell our policies. To capture their attention, we made a play on the expression “see the world through rose-colored glasses,” and made glasses the color of rosé wine. The glasses folded out as the mailer was opened, and were easily detachable.The mailer also featured an eye chart with the names of different wines, but hidden in the chart was a secret message, revealed only to those who viewed the chart with the rosé-colored glasses.
