We'd never thought that the connections we had would shatter so easily. The pandemic revealed how deeply our society relied on them. Physical isolation triggered mental health conditions or exacerbated existing ones, creating a hidden but real mental pandemic. This piece is a homage to the time that many suffered.One key challenge was to clearly address the emotion while keeping it open for interpretation. A huge part of the effort on the project was devoted to creating the detailed materials in Redshift. The final visual quality successfully pushes the piece to the next level.
