Located in Australia's beautiful northwest, the Kimberley is one of the world’s oldest and largest wilderness landscapes. Its predominantly untouched coastline featuring pristine white silica shores and shimmering azure seas is an extraordinary contrast to the towering red sandstone escarpments, open sky and sweeping plains. Delicate coastal sandbanks, isles, inlets and other natural phenomena are routinely unveiled by the retreat of large tidal currents which dictate when and what to explore throughout the region, whilst providing a stunning canvas unrivaled on the Australian landscape.

Steven Manolakis is a photographer based in Sydney. His images of Australian landscapes photographed from above provide a unique view of what lies surrounding us.Since he began shooting in 2018, Steven has earned over 100 international photography awards, commendations, nominations, and honourable mentions. Most notably, he was a finalist in the 2020 Australian Geographic Nature Photographer of the Year, part of the Official Selection in the 2022 International Photography Awards, and awarded Remarkable Artwork in the 2022 Siena Awards.
