For our project, we chose three books by the same author and created a cohesive series of dust jacket designs. We added an interactive element to each dust jacket. My interactive element was to make a die-cut of a single illustration and leave most of the outer dust jacket black, creating intrigue as there is little information given. Once the audience picked up the book and removed the outer die-cut dust jacket, they would see the illustrations and information underneath. The illustrations all relate to the book, but the reader will have to read the book to find them.
