A branding project for a cafe in Japan called DANWA. Their cafe concept is “Playground for adults.” They will be having different kinds of way for their customers to ‘sit,’ such as on a hammock. At the back of the cafe, they will be selling products they’ve collected by travelling to different countries.DANWA in Japanese means, to have a relaxed conversation in a cosy warm atmosphere. The founder’s wish is to evoke stories by DANWA, and they wish their customers could grow another seed of stories in DANWA. The seed could be seen on the logo. They love stories that DANWA could evoke.

I am a Japanese student who is currently studying in Glasgow, Scotland.I am excited about how our senses could evoke memories to people and how designers can create the experience. To further my understanding and explore my creativity, I explored a variety of design-related fields; from UX design, Service Design, Haptic Design, Product Design, Branding, and Multisensory Design.
