An energy revolution in the UK is under way. A transition from traditional fossil fuels to new approaches that can deliver cheaper, greener and more reliable energy services to help people live cleanly. Funded by a new Innovate UK Industrial Strategy Challenge programme, this editorial commission documented innovative local sustainable solutions and a mix of new construction and transport tech from across England and Wales. Revealing the stories of innovators, academics, researchers and members of the public working towards a cleaner energy future to help inspire and drive positive change.
