Meet the Jury
Our jury panel is comprised of an international pool of creative industry professionals from art and creative directors, curators, publishers and other influential luminaries.
Octavia J Gilmore is the Founder and Chief Creative Officer of Atlanta based Creative Juice, an award-winning creative agency. Originally from New Jersey, Gilmore was first introduced to graphic design at the young age of 14, where she knew one day she would start her own agency. Octavia J Gilmore obtained a BFA in graphic design from the Savannah College of Art and Design, Atlanta. At the age of 23, Gilmore took the leap of faith and launched Creative Juice in 2013. Gilmore is proud to run a millennial, minority, female-owned agency.
Gilmore is very passionate about giving back and paying it forward. Through her partnership with Atlanta Public schools, Creative Juice allows students to gain the real world experience of working in a creative business environment. Gilmore is currently on the advisory board of Next Generation Men and Women, a nonprofit that exposes students to self-exploration, different career options as well as helping them prepare for college.
Octavia J Gilmore has been awarded several honors throughout her career. Her awards from 2018 include the Power 30 Under 30 Award, the Savannah College of Art & Design Emerging Alumna, and graduating from Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses.
In 2019, Gilmore graduated from the Georgia Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Cultivating Hispanic Leadership Institute and the Tuck School Of Business Strategic and Leadership Institute. She was also featured as 7 Atlanta Influencers on Our Radar in the Atlanta Tribune Magazine. When Octavia is not girl bossing or speaking at events, she is traveling, eating at a local restaurant, reading a book, or spending time with friends and family.
