1. What inspired the project you submitted to the C2A Awards, leading to your recent success?
Wei Tang Feng: This project was inspired by our knowledge of the environment and culture of the Taipei Municipal Zoo. We hope that through creative signage design, we will not only solve the navigation problem of the zoo but also provide visitors with a more enjoyable and educational experience.
2. Can you share how the recognition has influenced your perspective on your creative journey?
Wei Tang Feng: Winning the C2A Award has profound implications for our creative journey and business endeavors. This award not only approved our design creativity but also brought more exposure and recognition to our brand and business, making us more firmly on the path of innovation and professional design.
3. What fuels your imagination, and how do you approach the creative process?
Wei Tang Feng: Our imagination often comes from observations and experiences in daily life. We value the communication between our design teams and customers, exploring ideas through multi-faceted discussions and research. Simultaneously, we refer to excellent designs inside and outside the industry to continuously learn and try new design concepts and technologies.
4. What are some of the recent challenges you’ve faced in your creative career, and how have you tackled them?
Wei Tang Feng: The recent challenge is how to perfectly integrate the guide sign design with the environment and culture of the Taipei Zoo. Through on-site surveys and communication with customers, we gradually optimized the design solution to make it practical and also artistically beautiful.
5. How do you see the C2A award influencing your creative career and leveraging this recognition in your future projects?
Wei Tang Feng: Winning the C2A Award will greatly increase our credibility and reputation in the creative design industry, and we plan to use that to attract more customers and partners. Meanwhile, winning the C2A Award also brings more confidence and motivation to our team.
6. How do you stay updated with the latest industry trends, and are there any emerging trends you are looking forward to incorporating into your work?
Wei Tang Feng: We keep on top of new trends by attending design forums, reading industry reports, and communicating with other designers. We also very look forward to incorporating new design trends and technologies into our work.
7. What are your future plans and aspirations, and how do you see your creative journey evolving?
Wei Tang Feng: We plan to expand our design team and business field, and also hope to continuously improve our design level and influence through continuous learning and innovation.
