This autobiography, written by Michelle L. Potter, is an account of Michelle's experiences battling Lyme Disease. The cover was designed to reflect a dream she had of an angel in the desert providing her with guidance and encouragement. The photograph is a depiction of the angel as she appeared in the dream. The type choice as well as the color scheme is meant to evoke comfort and a sense of calm. The design is driven by the thought of an ethereal environment.

I have been a university Professor of Graphic Design for 20 years and a designer for more than 25. I am an internationally awarded designer and published children’s book author and illustrator. My experiences in the field, as well as the classroom, make my design and creative skills second-to-none. I live for visual gratification and the ability to create. My world revolves around visual communication and the satisfaction that comes from a piece of work well done.
