In Chaoshan culture, the worship of the Tree Deity connects humanity with nature's wisdom, but these rituals can unintentionally harm both worshippers and trees. This project questions how reverence for the Tree Deity would continue if trees no longer existed, exploring how to preserve its wisdom and sincere intentions. "Ecosophia" combines "eco" (ecology) and "sophia" (wisdom), aiming to harmonize reverence for nature. It encourages reflection on rituals, beliefs, and the environment, fostering a deeper connection between people, spirituality, and the natural world.
