The MediConnect app streamlines volunteers' workflow by providing an integrated platform to match patients in medicine-deprived areas with donors across China during the pandemic. It also features onboarding and options for contacting immediate assistance at any time, which improves volunteer efficiency and helps more rural area patients access necessary medicine timely, thus saving lives. The app provides a framework with utility extending beyond COVID-19, offering potential for resource distribution in various disasters and enhancing overall resource management.
