Our theme this year was taken from real life during the pandemic, highlighting the amazing accomplishments that were made along the way by the strong, driving, resilient youth we support here at YWS. Written by both youth and staff, the report gives an authentic outlook from the perspectives of our “family” to create an emotional connection with our audience. The report's 'scrapbook' design reflects the arts and crafts our residents participated in while coping with the lockdown. The imagery starts out bleak, in black & white, then into full colour as they overcame their adversity.
